Rosewood Writing Bureau
This is a highly polished piece of furniture, which does show signs of previous use.
The bureau comprises of 3 long drawers and 1 smaller drawer, and a lockable pull down writing desk.
Inside the desk are 4 horizontal pigeon holes and 1 vertical pigeon hole, there is also a small drawer. On the writing area of the desk there is a red and gold leather inlay. The writing desk rests on 2 pull out runners. The felt on the runners is complete and in tact, the runners move smoothly but are a manual pull out.
There are some minor scratches and a few chips in the varnish of the bureau but non of them reach down to the wood. The drawer inside the writing desk is unfortunately missing it's knob, and the red and gold leather inlay has some scuff marks on it.
